As part of the Smart Cul Tour project from the program of IPA 2 pre-accession funds of the European Union for cross-border cooperation between the Republic of Albania and RS Macedonia, the European Union helped build a memorial museum with nearly 800,000 euros. Besides Deputy Minister Dimitrovski, the ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Pustec, Pali Kolevski, the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Albania, Meri Kumbe, the Mayor of Bitola, Natasha Petrovska, as well as other senior guests from the Korca region.

- The writer Sterjo Spase has lived and dealt with art and literature in very difficult times for Albania and the whole region. His work left strong traces in Albanian literature, due to which he won various awards, and after the restoration of a democratic Albania, Sterjo Spase began to become famous in Macedonia, where his works are translated. Spase wrote in Albanian language, but for the Macedonian folklore he is also important as a collector of folk songs and intellectual works in Macedonian, of which a collection has been published in RN Macedonia, said Dimitrovski.


In the frame of the project Smart Cul Tour were presented the activities of reconstruction of the ancient theater in the archeological location Heraclea Lyncestis near Bitola and the access street so-
called "Roman road" including a pedestrian path to the site, which should be completed by the end of this year.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Pustec, Pali Kolevski emphasizes the importance of the writer Sterjo Spase as a bridge that connects the two peoples, the two cultures, the Macedonian and the Albanian. In her welcoming address, the Mayor of the Municipality of Bitola, Natasha Petrovska, emphasized: Life is exactly what we are all here together. In all our joint efforts, joint activities, in every moment, in our every word, the excitement is felt.
